Uitwisseling van ideeën en netwerken staan centraal op deze dag. Naast de praktische workshops organiseren we ook netwerkcafés. Het is aan jou wat je verkiest.

Tijdens deze dag leer je over Europese waarden in het onderwijs. Hoe gaan we om met waarden in tijden van polarisatie en haatzaaiende taal? Je komt meer te weten komen over het RAINBOW-project (Raise Against Intolerance, New Bridges On the Web). We zullen internationale inzichten delen over polarisatie, haatzaaiende taal en Europese waarden, je kan hands-on workshops en trainingsactiviteiten kunnen volgen waarin wordt uitgelegd hoe u deze onderwerpen in uw school of klas kunt integreren. Vervolgens kom je meer te weten komen over internationale projecten. Hoe kunnen we met internationale partners samenwerken rond het thema Europese waarden? In Erasmus+-projecten? In eTwinning-projecten?
Tijdens deze dag leer je van internationale docenten, internationale projectpartners.

During this day you will be able to learn about European Values in education. How do we deal with values in times of polarisation and hate speech? You will learn about the RAINBOW-project (Raise Against Intolerance, New Bridges On the Web). We will share international insights on polarisation, hate speech and European Values, you will be able to follow hands-on workshops and training activities explaining how you can integrate these topics in your school or your classroom. Next you will be able to learn about international projects. When you want to cooperate with international partners on the topic of European Values, how can you do this? In Erasmus+ projects? In eTwinning projects?

During this day you will be able to learn from international teachers, international project partners. Exchange of ideas and networking is central to this day. Hence we will organize network cafés next to the hands-on workshops. It's up to you what you prefer.

• Participants share their enthusiasm for European values, international professionalisation, Erasmus+ and eTwinning
• Participants learn from international experts and each other about polarisation and hatespeech
• Participants share how they implement European Values in their own school context
• Participants exchange which problems or success factors they encounter when implementing European Values at their own school
• Participants make future plans regarding the further (and possibly independent) setting up European Values activities in their own context and/or internationalisation initiatives

Iedereen met interesse in het Rainbow project en/of interesse voor internationalisering.

1. Maria Gracia: How to prevent and manage bullying and cyberbullying

Short description: The workshop is intended to provide practical tools for teachers and trainers to manage bullying and cyberbullying situations with under age students. The workshop has been created starting from the need of having a management system that states roles and procedures to act in a fair and prompt way in front of such situations. 

2. COMI, Stefano: Developing civic competences among students. How can we train teachers to work with students on the theme of EuropeanValues? 

Short description: The workshop will provide both practical and theoretical tools to aim at the theme of European Values. Starting from the concept of European identity, in this workshop, the objective is to create a common ground of discussion based on a different way of perceiving European Values inside educational field looking at the way we, as a teacher or educator, promote and perceive these values. 

3. eTwinning ambassador: How to set up eTwinning projects countering hate speech and polarisation?Short description: Creating an online project and collaborating with European partners is easy using eTwinning. You can international partners, you can collaborate and disseminate your projects. This workshop shows you how to develop online international projects.  

4. Rainbow: Roxana - Save humanity with identity! Focus group on European Values 

Short description: The European Values Study covers a wide range of human values. The main topics concern family, work, environment, perceptions of life, politics and society, religion, morality and national identity. In this workshop we will explain how we can help students recognize and differentiate stereotypes and prejudices. Also, we will see examples from the press and the media that highlight European values. Students need to be taught to analyze the materials they consume in the media, and you, the teachers, can support them with a few simple tricks. Let's learn them together! 

5. Mrs. Serena Valietti, journalist. How a free press leads to personal freedom. Tips and information for training students to the right to expression.

Short description: The workshop will explore key issues in contemporary information: from freedom of speech, to inclusive language and hate speech, to fake news and constructive approaches to journalism. The workshop is aimed at raising awareness about how to manage those critical topics as trainers and teachers with students. The activity includes both theory and practice. 

6. Epos workshop: How to implement European Values in an international project (Dutch).

Short description: International projects are valuable to schools. Through international contacts and cooperation schools can learn together and from each other. In this workshop you will learn how to implement an international policy at your school. You will learn what kind of Erasmus+ projects can help you to put this policy into practice. 

7. Tim Van Aken: How to create an impactful European Values-project

The Impact+ Exercise has been developed to help applicants and projects think about what their impact could be and how to measure it.  Do you want to set up a project implementing European values in your school? Do you want to create impact together with your partners. This workshop can help you to reflect on creating impact with your project idea.

8. David Ribes Lladós: How to engage students to collaborate making an European Values Campaign in schools

Short description: Do you want to learn how to create a participatory campaign with your students? In this workshop we will explain step by step the process of designing a dissemination campaign, focusing specially on the participatory approach. Together we will discover the benefits, the challenges and the risks of participatory methodologies applied to communication.
